Vicissitudinal Sunset

Sunsets always amaze me. Many photographers will tell you that if you want to shoot a sunset you should start shooting an hour before through an hour after sunset. The idea is, the sky changes so much every ten seconds or so over that time frame, that a single sunset can produce so many different (and sometimes amazing) pictures. Just when you think its perfect, it gets even better. I find that life can be like that as well. It changes so much that you almost can’t keep up. Just when you think its going bad, it gets worse. Or, just when you think its going good, it can get even better. My point is, why worry. What ever experience you have now is just going to change, you just have to wait. It is what it is. Things going good? Don’t get cocky, it could go bad at any minute, just enjoy the good while you have it. Does life suck right now? Take it easy, it will get better soon. The trick is being patient for that change. In the Bible, King Solomon states, “He [God] has made everything beautiful in its time. Also, he has put eternity into man’s heart, yet so that he cannot find out what God has done from the beginning to the end.” The hardest part of the changes in life is remembering that there IS a plan, and it will turn out okay in the end. A friend of mine used to say, “It’s always good in the end. If it isn’t good, it isn’t the end.”

    • I know! I wish I could go back to a lot of places & shoot (re-shoot in some cases). I also wish my new camera would hurry up & get here so I can shoot with better equipment!!!
